Do you work from home

If so... do you make a good income and how did you achieve getting there? I am interested in finding ways to make some income from home. Please no scams or get rich quick bs schemes that rarely work....--Answer1:nope get a real job.--Answer2:Im going to watch this thread...Great question, Ms. Lori!.--Answer3:I do, and its a lot of hard work and takes initiative. I work from home right now as my children have special needs and are in various programs they need to be taken to, and my husband was able to make more money than I was, so we decided I would be the one to stay home for a few years.I find work through various sites related to writing and editing. Before this, I worked outside the home at a publishing company. Finding work when you work from home on a freelance basis is a daily activity. I primarily get leads from elance.com and online-writing-jobs.com.The first one is $10 a month for me as I wish to have a certain amount of bids I can place (with fewer bids, it would be free and thats how I started out). The second one is free. Elance.com has a test you need to take before youre accepted onto the site.I bid on projects and submit samples of former work, and if lucky, am accepted onto enough of them to make some money for my household each month. :) They draw *normal* work rates...not $30 an hour or $2500 a month "just for clicking!" or any of that ridiculous stuff you see. These are actual projects, posted by actual people, and they require a skill, a background and a good reputation.Elance also has IT jobs and other types of jobs, so if you have a skill and a resume to go with it (and work samples), you might try that one.Work from home means just that: *work*. Dont let anyone delude you that you can "easily!!!" make thousands of dollars a month "just for answering a survey!" or any other silly thing. Typically, those offers will reel you in with a few $5 surveys, stopping just before you reach their minimum for receiving a check from them. I havent yet met an actual person who made any sort of money from sites like those. Beware. But if you have a skill, develop it, market it, search *every day* for work, be the first to answer a proposal, be professional and expect to get back from it exactly what you put into it.Good luck! Hope you find some work soon!.--Answer4:I work from home and I go to school fulltime. Im an affiliater and I work for a social networking site that pays us to refer members to the site. I benefit a lot from the social networking site because I introduced the money making opportunity to high school and college students. And, Yes, I do make some good money from it..--Answer5:I only work 10 minutes a day, so can you!
