From experience, Ive found Tescos a bit tricky when it comes to getting a refund on electrical goods, as theyve said in the past "Its/theyve been used, so we cant refund". I bought a set of BaByliss hair straighteners (2 days before Xmas) and have used them twice. I am very disappointed with them because they havent produced on my hair what is described on the box. My nephew bought a phone and then stupidly spilled a can of coke on it and drowned it, took it back to Tesco and they never said a word, just gave hime a new phone ( £180 worth at that.) Though maybe he was just lucky at the time.
