What Business Permits do you need to start an online based business

Depends on where you live (what state) and what you plan to sell. Call your local Chamber of Commerce.
Answer1:Ive done some extensive research for people starting new businesses. In almost every major city across the US, you can find either a SCORE or an SBDC (Small Business Development Centers). Both of these organizations are recognized through the Small Business Administration. These are great programs to take advantage of, because they usually offer free one-on-one counseling for entrepreneurs. SCORE, for example, is mainly run by volunteers who are all retired business owners or people who used to work in the field of business tax, law, marketing, and so forth. Theyre easy to Google on the web to find a location nearest you.Depending on the location, I know some offer email counseling or phone counseling, as well. Since its partially funded by the city and state governments, you can usually attend workshops they offer (on various business start-up topics) for free or a very nominal fee, which covers the cost of the print-outs they give you.I went to a SCORE workshop for about $35 bucks and got to hear an overview on various start-up topics, to include business taxes, laws, and different company structures (i.e. LLC, C-Corp, S-Corp) and the works. I was very impressed!Check this stuff out.... and good luck!
