My Fiance wants me to take out a business loan of $30,000 to start up his new business. I am afraid that this will later affect my ability to purchase my first home, or I will be held completely liable to pay it back and later affect my credit. Should I take out this loan and if I do how will it affect me in the long run? Or what is the best way to go about it without it affecting me too much? Please help!

If its your money going into the business then you should have the business set up as a partnership so that you can show an additonal stream of income when applying for your mortgage. Otherwise when they pull your credit theyll see youre normal income and $30,000 loan. And if anything goes wrong, and your name is on the loan, you are liable.

A couple of years ago the company I worked for noticed on video that I put a few bags in my pocket at the end of the day. This company gets prescription medication ready for customers. When I put these bags in my pocket I didnt even know what I would do with them and figured it is only worth cents under a dollar. When I tried for unemployment they held this against me and I never got any benefits. Since the cost of these bags was so little shouldnt I have been warned about it first before getting fired and should I have fought to get unemployment or would I have never won for unemployment?

Are they referrals? Are they word of mouth? If so, will the referrals increase enough to cover the added costs of being in a retail location (lease, insurance, overhead, etc)? If you dont believe so, what will you do to increase your retail sales once you are in the new location?For the record, now is an excellent time to start a small business. Just crunch the numbers for all possible scenarios before you dive in.
