When I began my research about buying stuff wholesale to sell on Ebay for a profit, I was bombarded with junk mailers and brochures from these businesses wanting me to buy their wonderful junk to sell "at a fantastic profit." Pure garbage! I dont want to spend too much time ranting, but to make it short, focus on an area you really know about (electronics, collectibles, dolls, etc.) and then zero in on something specific (DVD players, baseball cards, Barbie dolls, etc.). By doing a little more research you should be able to find out where to purchase these items. Try going to your local library and look at some titles like "Ebay for Dummies" and "Selling Wholesale on the Internet."Whatever you do, spend a lot of time checking things out first. It will save you ulcer problems later on. And yes, Im sure there are legit work-at-home websites, but I havent seen one mentioned on YahooAnswers yet that doesnt require you to log on to a zillion other websites to entice other people to "check it out" so you can collect a penny.Anyway, just my 2 cents worth....

Im thinking about majoring in business with a specialization in international business, but im also considering a career in technology. What will be more high in demand? Im afraid to go with the technology route because lots of stuff is being outsourced..but then again people are telling me I will be better of with technology. If you own your home you can report a certain percentage of your house on taxes as business use. Must have an office with a computer. As for taxes, you are self employed by trading, so save every receipt from purchases related to trading, office supplies, etc. You can even put your car on taxes, mileage driven per year. You need a car to go to the store to buy supplies etc. Also on taxes you must report every single trade you make, not just the annual profit/loss. I would like to start an airbrush tattoo business. My plan is to convince my father to invest in buying the equipment I will need, then he will recieve a large cut of the profit until the amount of the equipment is paid of.
