I am the project manager, and owners son of a contracting firm, and I work directly with the guys on the jobsite. I tend not to show off the nice things I have around, mainly because I feel bad about them not making as much money as myself. Anyone else feel this way or am I just being overly sensitive to this?.--Answer1:i think it depends how youv been brought up. i have never been around flashy cars, my parents always had basic a-b cars so i would always feel uncomfotable in something too nice... whereas my friend who is a retail manager drives a 25k sports car, and i know hes embarrassed when he sees his area manager, because hes worried hell think hes being paid too much.. oh how hard it must be too have money :)
