What is a second chance offer on ebay

I am a seller. I sold an item. It says "1 item I sold is eligible for a second chance offer". What is that and why is the item I sold eligible for a second chance offer?.--Answer1:If you have more than one of the item you can offer the 2nd item to the 2nd place bidder. If the funds are not in the account it could be a spoof email or there could be an error in where you have the paypal funds going. You should double check the listing..--Answer2:Question 1. All sucessful auctions on eBay that have 2 or more bidders will display the SCO option. If you only have one widget, ignroe the feature. If you have 2 (or the high bid falls through), it saves you the listing fee...but only if you are willing to accept the amount shown. (The buyer is not required to buy.)Question 2. Look at the email very carefully. Is it the correct email address? Does it have any BS about "paypal" having your money but being unable to release it until you show proof of shipment? Even if Paypal is freezing the money or there is a delay transferring from their bank account, it should show on Paypal if you manually sign in.Where does your buyer want it shipped? Nigeria? Scam alert.Ah, the upgrade. Your buyer is paying you with a credit card--you cant use a personal account to sell on eBay. (As a courtesy, they dont make you upgrade until the first CC payment comes in). From now on, Paypal will automatically withhold 3% for its fees.
