buy a good amount of land, at least 100 acres preferably more my max. is going to be 400 acres, and on it have a lot of different types of livestock including: beef&dairy cattle, goats&sheep both for meat and the latter for wool possibly depends on the breed, and a small amount of pigs, with some other farm animals that would just be pets like ducks and stuff, what is a good state where the market is good for at least a couple of those, cost shouldnt be too much of a issue because he plans on taking a new route with his home improvement business, plus my uncle might help him & i intend on writing a few of my book ideas, note im only 14 this is his account he never uses..--Answer1:If you dont need to live near a major city, then consider Texas. We have great land prices in the farming communities, good cattle prices, and the goats sell well to places like houston where the hispanic population is large. My family has been farming for years, they live about 40 miles outside of Waco in a place called Rosebud. Very small town, and very nice people. Plenty of good land available with the economy doing what it is, but very few employment opportunities if you are not self sufficient. Just a thought, take a look at prices in some of the small town newspapers to see if it catches your eye..--Answer2:skip wisconsin, taxes are too high texas is good, excellent good!.--Answer3:Check one of the New England States
