So I39;m thinking of changing my majorsmall business

Im currently enrolled as an English/History major, but lately Ive been thinking about getting into business. Ive always wanted to open my own, like a store of some sort, but I dont know what sort of classes/degree Id need. Its not a problem to change at this time, as Ive only finished one semester, and I still have a year before I have to officially declare a major. Anyway, Im thinking a business major would be ideal for this sort of thing, but Im not sure what else Id have to get with it. Someone suggested to me that Id have to narrow it down a bit, like accounting or something, but what else is there that would apply to opening a small business? I really have no idea how Id go about all of this...help?Thanks!.--Answer1:internet business is where the money is at! check it out http://makemoneyonline1000.com.--Answer2:Many people have the same thinking as you do. But if you pay more attention, you will find many successful entrepreneurs are not business major. I also wanted to open my own business, so I paied attention to this phenomena for long. I found many successful entrepreneurs are more of techonology majors rather than business or accounting. Especially accounting, fewer businessmen are accounting majors. I think accounts are too prudent to start a business. So just learn something you like for now, then when you want to start your own business, grasp an accounting book and learn for several months, you will know how to do it.
