That way if you have any problems with the transaction, they step in and help resolve the issue. However, if you paid him by personal check, you took a chance and lost on this one IMO.Best of luck.....--Answer2:Contacting ebay is the only option. Did you pay with paypal? If yes you can open dispute and get your money back. Contact ebay to see what they could do. Refer to the policy too. Also contact your credit card if you had made via credit card to see to whom its paid and whether they could reverse the payment..--Answer3:You need to log in to your Paypal account at Paypal.com and open a dispute for an Item Not Received. If you did not pay by Paypal, then you need to file a claim with Ebay but you will need receipts for payment to the seller. Good Luck..--Answer4:Urm its happened to me before and i think you have pretty much lost your money. This is why you must always read reviews of your buyer. IF they have sold a lot and have good reviews, its likely they arnt going to screw you over as they are making a business out of selling online. However if they have bad or no reviews then they can just take your money and run!. IM sorry!.--Answer5:Complain over and over again to paypal *use resolution. Also contact ebay and complain. Then resolve if possible to NEVER use both again, cos their are far more reliable methods of buying stuff (and hardly like its more expensive, I bet youd be surprised and might find cheaper elsewhere)Ive been totally conned by paypal website shops and the replies from paypal (noting I really got on their case) was weak. I would stay well clear of it even though I got money back it wasnt worth the hassle involved. Even shops that take 3d card verification are somewhat more of a comfort to me and I now really enjoy and take pleasure from the known and established retails like argos, amazon etc. When was the last time you got stitched on a purchase from them ?.--Answer6:You need to contact ebay, even if the seller has gone off ebay, ebay could track him down. its not like you paid him £5 you paid him £150 & thats alot of money. But you should always check seller feedback. oh and btw, you can get the persons address from paypal. If you go to paypal & go to the transaction, you could track his details from there.Hope this helped. Regards. x.--Answer7:You need to go to this site:http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/questions...Although ebay does not protect you against dishonest sellers, PayPal does offer some protection.PayPal insures your purchase as long as you have followed certain guidelines, which are pretty simple.Go to this site and follow the instructions:http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/questions...They should walk you through the process of retrieving your money. If you need additional help, please feel free to contact me and I will do my best to help you. wfjackson25@yahoo.com
