I dont need advice on how to run an ad in the paper, radio or tv. I am looking for ways to reach potential hair clients, and to show them I am the stylist for them. I am a seasoned hair stylist, been steady working for 14 years in the profession. I work for JCPenney salon and I am a senior designer there. We work on commission, and I am looking to build a solid clientele base. I recently moved to Texas so I had to start over building clients. So what I am asking for here is: I would like anyone who has used a marketing strategy that has worked for them. NO COLD CALLING please. If you have tried anything unusual or off the beaten path (so to speak) to build your business and it worked I would like to hear your story. Thank you in advance for all the helpful suggestions..--Answer1:Theres a lot that could be said here. However, for starters, you could run a special in your area and partner with one of your product line people (or more than one) to give away samples and other products with the first time visit.Who has an email list of people that youd like to have as clients. Partner with them in sending out an invitation to their list and youll share the revenue on the initial sale with them.Good luck
