Is it possible to make good profit off a lan Gaming tournament buisness

I always thought it would be awesome to have my own place where i can host Gaming tournaments from all genres to Carad games, to video games daily,or even just come in and just play with your friends. The only problem is i dont think it would ever be profitable to actually keep a place running like thatWhat do you think i should do?.--Answer1:Im not sure if you can make a profit off a lan Gaming Tournamnet buisness but I know how you can make a few extra bucks. Not sure if your interested but here goes, I thought I let you know that there are free online money making sites, some of which are scams. However, Cash Crate is by far the best program I have discovered. Unlike many of the programs out there it’s 100% free to join and you will never pay them a dollar. I just joined CashCrate a month 1/2 ago and I am pretty excited that I have already earned money from this, with hardly any effort. There are two ways to make money with Cashcrate: 1. Get paid for completing offers such as short surveys and questionnaires 2. Refer other people and receive a percentage of their earnings If you do consider signing up please sign up under me and I will guide you with helful tips and whatnot. Also, they have a great forum too for help & advice. Here is my link: cashcrate .com /835490.--Answer2:maybe if you had tourneys and charged say like 5 bucks per person. And then each person from the winning team doubled there winnings to 10 bucks. But there would have to be A LOT of people for you to profit this way. You could possibly raise the entry fee, but would risk people not coming because its too expensive..--Answer3:There is a poker tournament that is hosted at a Hotel banquet room from time to time in my area . You could start poker tournaments and keep a mailing list to make it grow. The costs would be minimal because you only have to pay rent for the day of tournament and wouldnt have to rent a place for the entire month ..--Answer4:If youre planning on doing nothing but running tournaments and having people playing games, I dont think it will be very profitable. During the day it will be dead because most people are either in school or at work. How about this... why dont you start a video game/card game store? You could sell all kinds of stuff, from console games to that D&D-type junk. Find a place that has a nice-sized backroom and then host nightly (or weekly) gaming tournaments for after the store officially closes. You could charge, or you could make the games free as a way of promoting your store. Make sure you have Coke and Red Bull and Cheetos and whatnot available for the players, too... theres a whole other profit center. And dont forget about selling your stuff online, too... you can do that when things slow down at the shop.
