on certain jobs will i be able to go for a supervisor or manage spot right?.--Answer1:no way does someone fresh out of college start as a manager - manager trainee, maybe, but expect a year or two of on job training and most management degree jobs are either retail, food service (think McDonlads) or sales mgmt, in which you will have to start as a salesman and prove yourself over many years before you get a shot at sales mgr.--Answer2:What Doctor Deth said about most mgmt degrees being in food service, sales, etc. is completly not true. With that being said,however, you will not be given an upper level management position right out of college, ever. period. When looking for a position like that, your degree isnt even of great importance. There are managers with all sorts of academic backgrounds. You just have to get a job, work hard, and capitalize on your oppurtunities.
