I have found a few sites who offer to do a deedpoll for name change. Some of the sites charges are very high others are quite reasonable. Also with the rate of fraud these days, was just wondering if anyone knows any site that can be trusted to do this and whose deedpoll is accepted in the UNITED KINGDOM..--Answer1:in the U.S. we have to petition the courts for this. Seek out a solicitor.--Answer2:dont do it online!!!! see a solicitor in person. it will cost around £60 but can cost more/less. obviously varys from firm to firm..--Answer3:If you have a solicitor I would ask them first. It may save you a lot of grief. I would definitely want to do it sat at a desk with a face rather than sat in front of a computer screen.I would think long and hard about what a lot of work it involves. Just by thinking for a few seconds I reckon I would have to change around 30 to 50 different documents, accounts etc. etc..--Answer4:What is wrong with popping in to a local solicitors office, any solicitors will have done this many times.
