I am a CPA and I need help and tips in getting a job with a CPA firm

It looks like it is so hard to get a Job with public accounting firms. I think these firms only hire from school campuses and for some of us who are out of school it is so hard to get a job with these firms even if we have our CPA certificate. AM I the only person in this situation?.--Answer1:Instead of trying to get a job with a large firm, try starting one of your own. You can start by working out of your home, as long as you dedicate one room in your home strictly to business use and are serious about working, not just hanging out while waiting for calls. You can advertise for clients and, if you offer reasonable fees, people will call you. CPAs usually charge very high fees, so if you offer fees that people can afford, especially in these hard times, youll get clients. Dont confine yourself to any particular field, try to be available to all sorts of people and businesses. Build a reputation for being honest and caring and youll be rich before you know it.Ive been doing this for 20 years. Im known for my honesty and caring and I have more clients than I know what to do with. I have people working for me who are making a good living and Im making money not just on my work but also on theirs. This is called capitalism. God Bless America!
