How do I stay focused in my business when I am always stressed about money

My business generates about $500,000 to $650,000 a year, but my margin of profit is on the lower side. When I first got started, and when business is booming, I am flowing with ideas and expanding is fun and manageable, but when business is slower (especially during the winter in my business), I cant focus on anything but the worry about paying bills. I am behind a little bit, but I am already set to be good in January, but I struggle to focus on growing the business. I get stuck in the "oh no, how am I going to pay vendor X, or refund customer Y" etc. Im stuck in this daily cycle of what I would consider "mild panic". Any suggestions? Thanks..--Answer1:Keep a business journal at all times, and record any ideas that you have in it. Walt Disney had the Imagineer profile. Basically, split your journal up into a Dreamer section, a Realist section, and a Critic section. The Dreamer section allows you to come up with ideas that you would do if money and time were unlimited. The realist section allows you to figure ways that you might be able to make some of the ideas in the dreamer section come to pass (think partnerships, affiliations, etc.). The critic section forces you to evaluate if the ideas can actually come to pass, and what it would take to make them happen. During your scarier months, you could look up some of your dreamer ideas, and see if you could actually try and make some of them work. You may find that you can improve your business with your ideas, and at the same time alleviate some of the panic that you are experiencing. Secondly, come up with an exit plan if you do not already have one. Think to yourself, if I were to sell my business in a year, how much would I want to get for it. Then, figure out what you would need to do in the next year to get those numbers to be a reality. Thirdly, you might want to write out a strategic plan each year, and evaluate it each month to make sure you are on track for your goals.
