I put an item on Ebay and the bidding ended yesterday.Im going out of towm in 2 days and I wanted to send the item off to the highest bidder before I left but the highest bidder hasnt paid.I sent him an invoice and another message and have yet to hear from him at all.I was wondering how long was I suppose to wait until I can give it to the second highest bidder..--Answer1:did he had a pay pal? if he does do not worry..--Answer2:wait a few days, the person may not have even realised that they have won yet, if you hear nothing when you are back (if you are not going for too long) you can file a dispute through paypal or ebay. dont worry, it is normal for buyers to not realise and pay straight away.--Answer3:7-45 days.If you are like me, you have the mindset that people check them computer a lot. I had to learn to realize that even though I was ready to finish up the transaction, they had a lot of other things going on in their lives.I have been very frustrated trying to deal with people who do not check their e-mail very often.Contact your buyer. Like everyone, buyers can have emergencies or computer problems. The buyer may not be able to respond to you right away. If the buyer doesnt respond to your email, you may want to request their contact information and give them a call.Send a payment reminder. Send your winning buyer a friendly payment reminder between 3 and 30 days after the listing closes. Open a case in our Resolution Center. If you still don’t get a response from the buyer, or if you feel that you wont receive payment, you can open an unpaid item case in our Resolution Center 7 to 45 days after the sale. Your buyer is notified immediately and given an opportunity to respond. If the buyer doe sn’t respond within 7 days, or you’re unable to reach an agreement with the buyer, you can close the case and you’ll automatically receive a credit for your Final Value Fee. Read more about the Resolution Center and instructions for what to do if a buyer doe sn’t pay. To open a new case go to the Resolution Center and follow the instructions
