Can a partner and also an employee of a S corp apply for workman39;s comp

sustained a work related injury at my business that I co-own and am employed (I get a salary/paycheck like everyone else)I have short term/long term disability taken out of my check like everyonecan I do this?.--Answer1:In some states shareholders (more than 2% of the shares) of the corp are exempt from workers comp. If you have been paying for disability, you can file under that.Otherwise if you have not been paying into workers comp for yourself, then you can not place a claim at this point..--Answer2:Talk to the insurance carrier..--Answer3:yes, with a doctors report; being self-employed is not relevant.
