What are some jobs that a 13 year old could do
Answer1:Try babysitting kids other than siblings. Maybe selling stuff you no longer need or use on ebay. Maybe having a garage sell.
Answer2:cut yardssweep, clean up stores, etcI got a job as a stock boy at a Chinese import shop at age 13, in a lot of ways it was the most interesting job I ever had, it was so cool opening packing crates from China loaded up with all these exotic goods--statuary, foods, clothing. Not stuff made for the US market like you get at a Walmart, but Chinese stuff for Chinese people. Very interesting, a cool job. Maybe you could get something like that.
Answer3:Most places dont hire unless youre at least 16, although if youre lucky enough, you may be able to snag a minimum wage job washing dishes or something similar.I cant imagine that a 13-year-old would necessarily need a whole lot of extra money, seeing as how youre not even old enough to drive yet. If I were you, Id simply stick to babysitting.
Answer4:Summer golf bag carrierShovel snowCut grassYard workpaper delivery
Answer5:Babysitting for other people. Take a baby sitters course at your local red cross and it will help you get jobs. Also mowing lawns, doing yard work, cleaning house, all for other people for cash. Paper routes are also an option, but they are a pain in the bottom. You could even walk dogs for people. Get creative. Tutoring younger children for cash is also a good thing, my daughter did that. She helped kids with math and english homework and got paid a pretty good bit for only an hour or so of work.
Answer6:Me,Id walk the neighborhood each saturday with a list of possibilities. If you do this 2 or 3 times, people will come to expect it and trust you and know you. Eventually youll have a half dozen or more folks in the area that want you to babysit, run errands, clean something, or whatever. Here are some possibilities (and not all of them are fun, which is why people pay money for others to do them).1. Shovel snow.2. Scrape their windows before work - arrange this ahead of time3. Rake the leaves in the yard4. Wash their car - youll need a wagon with towels and supplies for this.5. Babysitting. Some thirteen year olds need to be babysat, others are responsible babysitters. If you are looking to make money, Id guess you are in the second category.6. Sweeping and straightening up decks and patios.Charge minimum wage (about 6 or 7 an hour) and youll do fine. There might be pushy adults that want to pay you 2 or 3 or 5 bucks for alot of work because they are taking advantage of your youth and desire for money, but dont waste your time. Youll do better holding out for a fair wage from someone else.Good luckKevin
Answer7:paperround, wash cars.. sell stuff
Answer8:I had a cousin who paired up with a couple friends and planned out a Christian summer camp. They had activities and everything all ready. They charged each kid like $20 a day or something and it lasted all summer. They had a BUNCH of kids. I dont know exactly how much they made, but it sounded like a ton.Or you could start a business. I heard of a girl who put an ad in the paper to simply iron mens business shirts. She charged like $3 a shirt. Some single men who are really busy dont have time for stuff like that, but they want to look professional.
Answer9:baby sit kids on your block. spread the word. put things saying that you are availble in peoples mailboxes. you really cant have a job in stores at the moment. cut lawns. cleans lawns etc.LEMONADE STAND! i did that. it was really fun
