I wanted to run a promotion, "sign up today and if team X wins this weekend.....you get a free ice cream cone" Something like that. It would be a professional team. Wondering if i had to pay to use team Xs name. This is taking place in the U.S (since laws vary by country). Id personally think yes....everyone is telling me no....but between me and everyone else, no one actually knows. From what I was reading, couldnt find much info, it seemed like teams only care if you are selling their name for your own profit.....but again i wasnt sure
