So Ive recently received a non-working item that I won through Ebay so I continued to send it back to the seller. The thing is, she received it today but claims the screen and mount is broken. I did not buy insurance when sending it because...well I didnt really care for it. So if the seller refuses to refund my money, am I eligible to leave negative feedback? And this item was pretty expensive as well so my friends are telling me to bid on their other items only to leave more negative feedback without intent to buy the items. I really dont care for my rep as a Ebay buyer.
Answer1:Instead of going through all the bull, if you paid through Paypal, make a claim. The fact that it was non-functioning in the first place was the sellers fault. She can and probably will argue that it returned to her broken, but since you only returned it because it didnt work, the blame will most likely be with her.
Answer2:Without knowing how much money you paid, I believe eBay covers you for a certain amount(?)
