My son has sold his trampoline and has made £60 which he wants to put towards starting his own business selling stuff on ebay etc. I have given him some stock to start off and will keep things really basic to begin with, I am unable to find a current account for a 10yr old, and as he is only 10 will everything like paypal etc have to go under my name til he is a certain age and are there any organisations who support young business people.       Answer7:Probably best you set everything up in your name and let him run it, although I obviously dont know your son, but im guessing as he is ten he will lose interest very quickly so dont go throwing money at this venture. I definitely would encourage your son to get involved in business and see where it goes. Im in Aberdeen and here we have scottish enterprise which is government and privately funded (i think) and encourages young businesses. Also contact the business school of your nearest university as they will almost certainly have business start up clubs where people share information and discuss ideas. There is a shed load of free money available to yuong people starting businesses, albeit, not ten year olds, but certainly something to look forward to.
