If you have a reserve price of say $20.00, but your starting bid is 10.00 and someone bids $15.00 and theyre the last person to bid, do they have to pay the $20.00? I know they cant pay the $15 but do they have to buy the item?

      Answer2:no they do not have to buy the item if their bid does not meet the reserve.
      Answer3:No, the reserve price has not been met so the auction ends with no winning bid.
      Answer4:The bidder doesnt have to pay $20 and the seller doesnt have to sell. If the seller is okay with $15 then the auction is complete. If the seller is not okay with taking less they are not obligated to sell and can relist.
