It needs to be a dot com. I see adds for sites that are not the name I want. I see ridiculous pries for some others. Ridiculous prices. Advice please.
      Answer1:Thedoghouse.com is a registered domain. You can "buy" it (the rights to the domain name). You can check out Godaddy.com that will tell you similar domain names, and the prices for them (see first link).
