What to do about business partner woes

My business partner and I have been in business for about a year, we have an LLC. We have made great strides with our business, but still need to get investment funds and all the other operations that go on in the running of a business. She has decided to move across the country to be with her fiance, whom she met six months ago. Since our business is mostly online, it can still work, but I worry that I will end up doing most of the work. She has said that she is ok with her husband being the bread winner. I am not of that same mentality nor am I even close to married. Her statement makes me worry that she will not remain committed to the vision. She will have to get a job as well, as she wont have the same set up as she has here where we live. We are going to put an operating agreement into place. Is there a way to separate our duties in a binding agreement that dictates how the money is divided should one of us not be putting in the effort necessary?Additionally, if I wanted to divide the business, is there a way to do this or start my own business to take over the operation?Im just worried about what will happen once she is moved and involved with working, raising her son, and being married. Also, this partnership has been a struggle, in terms of personalities.Any advice?
Answer1:Advice - see a lawyer..do not walk, run to see a lawyer and have a binding agreement drawn up. See one that specializes in business agreements/contracts. Better to spend the few hundred now then the heartache and cash 6 months down the road when it all comes crashing down.
Answer2:I would offer to buy her out of her half of the partnership since it sounds like she has lost interest and wont be focusing on running the business any longer. If you end up staying in business with her I would definitely get a lawyer to assist you in writing the operating agreement.
Answer3:Check it out here. It’s an excellent site with some wonderful options for you. It will definitely help you. Have a look.http://workathome-sa.blogspot.com/
