What do you think of ebay to sell home made stuff

i make shirts and am just wondering what ebay is like to sell them. im in australia so if any1 know of any other sites and what the fees are like and what not on ebay that would be great. thanks.
Answer1:If you feel its a great seller then do it. You make money when you feel its a good seller, its unique so it drives you to make sales. People sell greeting cards, oracles and loads of homemade items.--ebay is okay especially if you can afford to pay the fees; but its good to branch out to win more people eleswhere online who do not buy or bid on eBay.Other than eBay and ways of promoting your t-shirts.1.Free way – most people use classifieds like http://www.sellit-right.com for services/ products promotion.2.Post your links to your pages to social bookmarking sites that accept it.3.You can leave great comments on other people’s posts / blogs and link back to your site. Never spam make sure it relevant otherwise they won’t accept your comment!4.Have a signature link in various forums that points back to your site.Create a blog / mini site of your own to talk about your site using http://www.blogger.comKeep at it more than 4 times (or more) online a week to see good results. People are interested when you keep them interested. If you stop advertising you lose potential sales and no one remembers you.
