Starting small lawn mowing business

for the past couple years i have been wanting to start a small lawn mowing business. i have been working a crappy job just to save money. i have over ten grand saved now and i would like to buy a truck and a mower and start making some money! i have a few questions for anyone who is willing to help. first, should i charge by hour or by lawn? (depending on size) also, is there anyway i can get some financial help from the government? should i do this all under the table? i dont plan on making a killing at doing this, but it would be nice to just be self sufficient and work by myself outside all summer. does anyone have any advice for me? thanks in advance to all those who answer!
Answer1:Charge by the hour and include the cost of taxes, insurance and of course, equipment. You can try the SBA site of your state to check for financial assistance but I wouldnt count on that. Having a registered lawn care business however means more business.
Answer2:Here is a great resource that should answer all of your questionshttp://phpindex2.kwhiteside.hop.clickban...Best WishesHighest RegardsSean
