Starting a business in Florida

My husband is starting his own handyman business and ready to file for a business license. He is thinking about making it an LLC rather than a corporation. The question is... if he starts the business as a handyman service, (example: LENCO, LLC) can he decide to expand his horizons to other types of businesses under the same business license? Or will he be limited to one type of business only?
Answer1:Prob. not. He will need a handy mans, builders license OR just a business license. Here in MI you need to take and pass a test for construction. You have to know the inspection process which is severe in FL.
