How to figure out what to claim if doing child care in home

I need to know if I can claim the following: rent, elec, renters ins, car payment, car ins, phone, and gas for car? If I can, how do I determine how much of each?
Answer1:For childcare in a home - You are allowed to claim *only * for the percentage actually used in your business. For instance is you use one room of a five room home for your child care business then you can claim one fifth (20%) of the rent and utilities, On the vehicle you claim the per mile business rate for the miles you used the vehicle for business purposes. You will need to keep a log showing the miles driven for business and the miles driven for personal use. The car payment, Insurance and gas are not separately deductible business expenses. You can deduct the cost of food you feed to the children, and supplies you use in caring for them BUT you need to keep receipts to back up the amount claimed. You can claim the phone *only * if it is a second line that is exclusively used for the business. It cant be claimed if it is the only phone you have.
