Answer3:Hi,I regularly obtain freelance projects from Guru, iFreelance, and Elance. The main keys I see to winning are:1. Have a portfolio with multiple, excellent examples of projects youve done.2. Always include samples attached to your bids.3. In your bids, emphasize how you would benefit the buyer. One way to do this is to take the points/questions they list in their posts and address them directly in your bid.4. Make sure your rates are competitive and/or can be backed up by your experience. You can get an idea of going rates on Elance, where they show high, low, and average bids for each open project. Also, if you search for providers and review their profiles, you can see how much they were paid for their work. Collect this type of information and use it on any of the sites you use.5. If its possible, try to go the extra mile for the buyer. For example, you may notice there is something not included in their post that really (justifiably) should be part of their project. Offer to include this for free or at a low rate and explain how it would benefit them.6. Keep trying. It can take a little while to start winning projects, but it only takes one to get the ball rolling.Hope this helps.
