how hard is it to start a business. im wanting to open up a snow and ski shop in colorado somewhere. I need basic ideas of how much it costs in general and any other helpfull information. Like how much the land costs, how much the an average size store costs, and just any ideas on how to start. thanks.

That is where I started. they give you all kinds of useful ideas about how to gathre the info that you request. The city where you plan to locate will give you details about zoning and rents and stuff.Go for it! But read a book and start slowly. The books allll allll say that you need to get organised and make GOOD detailed PLANS for about a year before opening.
