My company is looking into hiring a few College Kids as Interns. We were considering working them up to 35 hrs a week at an hourly rate. Since they are going to be considered as interns , we don’t want them qualifying for benefits , and would like to avoid any type of unemployment if possible. Is this something that can be done ?
