With the economy the way it is, is now a good time to start a business

only if the it is something that can be supported in the present economic situation.
Answer1:It depends on what you plan to offer. If it is something like Starbucks then no because people are giving up those kinds of things to have more money but if you plan to have something people really need and are not giving up then go for. Good Luck =]
Answer2:Can you give us more info? Like what type of business youre planning on starting up?
Answer3:A good time?! Of course it is. During times of recession, some of the greatest businesses have been started (Disney for example.) But, what you need is to find a niche in the economy that everybody needs filled. To do this, just look around you, and see what is lacking in peoples lives, or could be improved. It will generally be a service, because I would not suggest starting a mass production business. Once you find this need, find out how you can fill it. If you can do that, then not only will you have started a business, you will have started an almost guaranteed to be successful business.Hope this HelpsTil Next Time (TNT)Slok K.
Answer4:Well that all depends on what type of business. Right now, businesses that provide value for a low price are doing great. Businesses that are addressing the fears of customers can really do well in this economy. On the big business side you have fast food places making a killing with their affordable menu items. While the verdict is still out on the Hyundai Assurance program (this is where they will allow return your new car that you financed if you lose your job - they also will make 2 months payments if you do so), its great way to inspire people to buy when people are fearing losing their jobs. Classic risk reversal! So if you have a business that can provide great value and address the needs of a group that is not being served (or not being served well), then you have potential. At the end of the day, its all about marketing. Great businesses with excellent products fail all the time without the right message going to the right people.
