I work closely with my boss on special projects. A lot of my job duties require us to go back and forth to get information from each other. I find that I end up waiting a long time - sometimes up to a month - for her to get something done, or get back to me with information, so that I can proceed with my project. It is really annoying but she owns the company, so I cant go to any higher authority to complain or get advice. The other employees that I work with get upset that things arent getting done, and they want to blame me for it. The real kicker is, is that sometimes I dont think shes busy with other responsbilities because I catch her surfing the web and shopping at work.
      Answer1:Well if things dont get done BLAME HER should she come to you all pretending to not know why the productivity is slow.
      Answer2:Youre absolutely out of luck.We have a boss like that but the only difference is: We all know who/what the problem is. It doesnt work here but it might work for you. Try and remind her about tasks that arent done yet. Repeatedly! Maybe email reminders might help.Sorry!
      Answer3:ahh that explains it, a female boss. They think they are full of power, so they take advantage. I had the same problem, till she got fired.obviously you can not force your boss to work unless you complain to a higher authority. Most of the times, other bosses will not work since they have authority. sort of like civilians and police officers, they have the advantage. You actually have to be lucky to find a good boss to help you out on things and dont take advantage of their position.I would just write and/or complain to a higher authority secretly.
