Im just wondering if parents of athletes or athletes in general would be interested in purchasing unique sports photographs. Im not talking about the traditional, sit outside holding a bat/ball, smile at the camera type of photo. Im talking about players in action while playing the sport type of photos...Im pretty good at taking action photos of sports and was considering starting up a business doing so... Id just like to know if people would really be interested in breaking away from the traditional sport photograph and going for something that shows the athlete playing and showing their moves???
      Answer1:I think so. You can take the photos "on spec". Hand out business cards with your web address on it. Have your website linked to a photo lab. The customers go to your site, and click on a link that directs them to the photos you took that day. They select the photos they want printed; size, quantity, etc. The photo lab processes the credit card, makes the order, and ships it to the customer. You get paid.
