Answer1:Any product or service that reduces the marginal cost to *a particular consumer* in a particular marketplace is of value - Ie; a "specialist" doctor is of tremendous value compared to a GP if you have a rare condition... thousands if not millions of examples.Unless Im totally missing the nature of your question.
