Best place in the USA to open a fitness studio

I live in Miami FL but i have been in different states in the us. I am currently and exercise science student and i want to open my own fitness studio once i graduate and the economy get better. I dont want to open it in south florida becuase my main clientele i want it to be for people who want to be healthy, not plastic superficial people wo are not serious about health. i lived in san diego and y mentor there has one of the top studios in san diego and honestly i owe her so much i dont want to be her competiton. I am looking into oregon, washington, or colorado. im from new york but as much as i love my city, i just dont feel its a place for me to live any longer. What are your opinions? What advice would you give to a young entrepenuer in the making? Please help!
Answer1:wow. where in the US to open a biz.In my biased opinion, do not open a biz for 1-3 yrs but instead, sniff out the cultural differences in different parts of the US.I am betting when you have lived in perhaps 3-4 more states, the IDEAL situation will be laid in your lap.start your formal biz plan now.keep me appraised.
Answer2:Where the rich are!South BeachCabo San LucasBeverly HillsWest L AEncinoLaguna BeachCorona Del MarMonterrey
Answer3:Chattanooga, Tennessee or Nashville, Tennessee would be a good place to open one as well as Atlanta, Georgia and Cortez or Denver, Colorado would be an excellent place as well! But go with what state you like! Just make sure you like the place where youll open up your business & know you can get costumers!Hope this locations helped!
Answer4:Might look in to the Mens Fitness "Fatest Cities" list. You might be able to get a decent deal from a city on that list that is looking to provide tax deals or other incentives in order to avoid that ranking in the future. I believe one of the stats on the measurement is number of health clubs per capita as well, so you are either looking at a market that does not desire such things, or one that has been untapped... not saying this is the ultimate answer, but might be a good place to start your comparisons.
