Should I start lawn mowingcare business

Here is my current situation: I am a 30 year old male, married with 2 children in a suburb of Indianapolis. I am currently an accountant for a firm and not completely happy with my job. I have recently started a real estate investment/property management company with a family member. He is the bank roll and I am the "worker bee." I have a strong interest in starting a lawn mowing service for residential and commercial. It would be something part-time while doing the rental property part-time so I can leave my full-time job. What would it take (or how much work) to make approximately $25,000-$30,000 per year with the lawn service? Do you think this is a good idea? I am 6 weeks away from earning my MBA and sick of sitting at a desk and staring at a spreadsheet all day long!!!
      Answer1:yea i did
Answer2:I think its an amazing idea. Of course, you will need to keep really good track of all the money coming in to your wallet and all the money going out. Before starting, you should consider seasonal drawbacks too; you cant mow lawns during the winter or even the rainy spring season. Do you want to do a sole proprietorship or a partnership? These are all things you should really think about..What would it take (or how much work) to make approximately $25,000-$30,000 per year with the lawn service?Well, this is what you want your final profit to be. Remember, profit is revenue minus your costs. In other words, out of all the money you got, how much did you spend. For instance, you spend money on gas just travelling to and from customers houses, and you may also need to rent some equipment, spend money on advertising, etc. Just add up all the expenses that you think you may have, come up with a suitable target market and according to their societal level, come up with suitable price to give your services. Its a great idea. My old teacher did this once, made quite a bit of money.
