I have signed up to be a vendor at a local event. I have never done this and need to know how to handle payments. Checks are obvious but how do I handle credit card payments without a credit card processing machine hooked up to the internet? I have one of those old fashioned credit card swipers with the carbon copy receipts. What do I do with the receipts after the show to charge their cards? Is there a better way?
      Answer1:If it is a small show and they do not have data ports available the only way is to wait until after the show and call them in by phone . Its risky but it might be the only way to do it.
