Is quot;im so starstruckquot; copright

i want to use it as the name of a new company/project im starting, but im not sure if im allowed because of the lady gaga song "starstruck" which features the phrase in its lyrics. help ?
Answer1:she owns copyright for that particular creation "im so starstruck" the words would need to be researched against other companies who might have the same name...one company must be distinguished from another...depending on your trade or how you intend to do business this will have a lot to do with it...but you own the copyright for the creation not necessarily the words. if you have an image that goes with it even better for you...may need more info...type of project/business, then do a search against other companies in that field...
Answer2:A name or phrase cannot be be copyright. The whole creative work of the song is copyright, but not single words or phrases. The only possible way in which a word or phrase could be copyright is if it has been made up by the author - and even then Im not sure. Certainly a generic phrase like "im so starstruck" cannot be copyright. However, words and phrases can be trademarked. This means that a company has registered the word for use in a particular industry or for a particular type of product. If this phrase has been trademarked for the same sort of company or project then you cant use it. However, if its not trademarked at all, or is trademarked but for a different use then you are OK to use it.
