My cousin and I are running a babysitting service and dont know how it could take off. I know everything I should know when it comes to first-aid, i can cook with a stove, i can make small healthy snacks, ETC. We need a good name for our service, our names are Lisa and Alicia, were almost like twins. We also need to know how we can get this bis. to take off!Sorry for the length though.And we need some tips, and we only babysit in these towns; Quakertown, Coopersburg, Allentown, Center Valley, and Sellersville.HELP!
      Answer1:One good thing would be to hand out flyers to people that you know have kids, and on the flyers, put what you can do, when your available, and your experience. Plus your number might be a good thing lol. You can babysit for family. Good luck and have fun!! :)

Also, go online and look up child care and read all you can about taking care of children plus have a good knowledge of simple games to bring with you to keep them occupied.Have you been babysitting? If so, ask those who have hired you before to write you a letter of recommendation.You could then make up flyers stating your qualifications and put in that you can supply letters from others that have used your services.Also, in the flyer, make sure that you state that you can cook simple meals and snacks and that you bring with you a supply of games and busy work for the children.When you get the job, make sure that the child or children are your only priority--dont get involved in watching television, talking on the phone, or inviting your friends in. You can watch television or talk on your cell phone if the children are in bed, but never invite anyone else over unless you first have approval of the people who hired you.After you babysit for awhile for the same people, ask if they would give you a letter of recommendation and add that to your list for further jobs. If you are a good babysitter, the word will get around and you will have all the work you want!
