How can I sell my clothes to a boutique

Dear all,for a while now Ive been making my own clothes. dresses, tops, sometimes swimwear. eventually people started asking me to make the same for them which wasnt very difficult as I could take their measurements and create a "bespoke" design. I have gotten offers from buyers in boutiques to sell my stuff there. I have a problem though, I am not familiar with sizes. I have only so far created clothing for myself and people around me with a knowledge of their sizes. I have never taken classes or had a fashion education and I am wondering now how I can take the clothes I make and turn it into something I call sell to a boutique. I am sure once I start generating an income I will take up some sort of formal education in fashion but for now I would appreciate any advice regarding how to take my hobby into a business?Thank you so much!
Answer1:it seems that you know how to do measurement and make clothes accordingly. this is good enough for you to start your own business.1. you do not have to learn design for time being. you are a designer already since you could make clothes for you and your friends. i suggest:1. you could make some clothes with different size and give them to the boutique to put it up in their show room ( or ask the guy from boutique which size they need most ) as samples, when customers come to put it on, the customer will buy it if the size is ok. otherwise, they could make special order then, the boutique will call you and make the " order " accordingly. it is so easy you are starting your own business.2. you need import from other countries , like china , if you receive more order ( in quantities for each size , styles, ) in the coming future. then you could make one sample and send it to the manufacturer and ask them to do it accordingly.3. i am from china with 18 years trading experiences. you could contact me if you need help from China in future.good luck!
