A friend and I want to kind of run a computer repair shop from our house. Nothing big, just running on word of mouth. Do we need to have something special to do that?

      Answer2:Because the laws vary I would recommend contacting your local chamber of commerce. They should be able to help you and/or direct you to who can. They are also a great resource for people starting up a business.As note, my mom gets all her computer repair work done by a guy who does all his work from out of his house. He gets her business because he picks up and delivers her computer when it needs fixed.Wishing you all the best!
