Do I own a business or not really

Ive a website where I do sell services to people. This website is registered and hosted in the US but my customers are mainly in the UK and I also live in the UK.I get paid via one of my current accounts in the UK which is not a business account but just a personal account. I do not pay any taxes from this money neither I reported it or keep any paper work besides the customers requests and some of their personal information. So can this be called a business? Do I have to worry about the taxman? How can the taxman know that I get this money from trading? How can I be responsible to pay taxes over this if my "business" is not registered, does not have a business account, has no physical address, is simply hosted on the web and outside the UK and I do not report any gains and have not registered myself as a trader? Is this illegal? And what are the advantages and disadvantages of making this "business" something known to the tax office? Thanks
Answer1:AS FAR AS I KNOW THAT IS NOT ILLEGAL YOU JUST HAVE TO BE CAREFUL IF YOUR MAKING A LOT OF MONEYI WOULD SUGGEST IF YOU DO MAKE DECENT MONEY TO GO GET A BUSINESS LICENCE YOU CAN GET A LLC FOR AROUND $50 AND THEN I WOULD GET AHOLD OF A TAX PROFESSIONAL AND ASK HOW TO WORK THE TAX SIDE OF IT
